"Evelyn has tutored two of my daughters. Teaching with patience, creativity, and humor, she has helped them catch up, move ahead, and love these subjects more. I highly recommend her!"
— Homeschool Parent
"Before working with Evelyn, I was really struggling in chemistry and felt overwhelmed. She breaks everything down step by step and always checks that I actually understand instead of just memorizing. I went from dreading chemistry to feeling confident going into tests."
— Chemistry Student
"She explained things in a way that finally made sense and never made me feel rushed or embarrassed for asking questions. I feel a lot more confident going into class now.”

Yes! The first session is half-priced to make sure that your student and I are a good fit.
Sessions can take place in-person or online (via Zoom or FaceTime). In-person sessions can take place in your home, in my home ($10 discount), or an agreed-upon third-party location such as a coffee shop. I prefer to meet in person because I believe it is clearer for both the student and me, but I am experienced and capable of leading online sessions as well. Since I am located in Fort Worth, TX, the online option can be the best option for some students.
I love seeing parents who want to be present in their child's education. However, I’ve found that students tend to be more focused and willing to ask questions when sessions are one-on-one. This helps me better understand how they’re thinking and tailor the lesson specifically to them. I’m always happy to share updates afterward so you stay fully in the loop.
For sessions held in my home, parents are invited to stay and use my wifi. I'll even make you coffee or tea :)
Absolutely, as long as it is a tool and not a distraction. I understand that some school information may only be available online.
