How do I book a session?

You can book from the available slots here, or reach out to Evelyn to reserve your slot. You can book individual sessions or block weekly sessions for the semester/school year!

What methods of payment do you take?

Zelle, Venmo, Cash, and Check are all accepted.

What are the cancellation policies?

For a full refund, cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance by texting Evelyn at 832-629-5935. No-shows are charged in full.

Do you have a trial session?

Yes! The first session is half-priced to make sure that your student and I are a good fit.

Where can we meet? Do you have online sessions?

Sessions can take place in-person or online (via Zoom or FaceTime). In-person sessions can take place in your home, in my home ($10 discount), or an agreed-upon third-party location such as a coffee shop. I prefer to meet in person because I believe it is clearer for both the student and me, but I am experienced and capable of leading online sessions as well. Since I am located in Fort Worth, TX, the online option can be the best option for some students.

Can parents stay and watch?

I love seeing parents who want to be present in their child's education. However, I’ve found that students tend to be more focused and willing to ask questions when sessions are one-on-one. This helps me better understand how they’re thinking and tailor the lesson specifically to them. I’m always happy to share updates afterward so you stay fully in the loop.

For sessions held in my home, parents are invited to stay and use my wifi. I'll even make you coffee or tea :)

Can I bring my phone?

Absolutely, as long as it is a tool and not a distraction. I understand that some school information may only be available online.
